Adventures

Life is full of adventures! From trying a new coffee recipe to exploring new hobbies, it’s fun to mix things up.

I’m a homeschool mama and college instructor. Quite different adventures, yet the same in many regards. I love to learn and pass the love of learning to others. Asking those ever important questions of why? Being curious is of upmost priority when information is absurdly easy to obtain. Have a question? You don’t even have to type it out (let alone… gasp… look it up in an Britannica Encyclopedia Set), you can simply ask Alexa or Siri. Of course, you have to vet your information.

Don’t get me wrong, I have a severe love of books and physical encyclopedias. It’s fun to show my children how to look up information in the index and alphabetical order. I feel like it’s an important skill to have… it may be obsolete in a few years, it may not be.

Oh, and the coffee recipe? Add some collagen, dandelion, and if you are feeling brave, some maca powder. I don’t know why maca powder effects me, but it’s like 10 cups of coffee for me! Oi vey!

This month in homeschool, we are specifically learning about microbiology. All those little things that can cause worldwide shifts to a mild tummy ache. From cholera to Ebola to bacteria in the soil, and lest not forget the current pandemic, it’s going to be an interesting learning experience!

What are you learning? What new adventures have you been on? I’d love to know!!
